Nutmeg Essential Oil (Myristica fragrans)

Nutmeg was so precious that Europeans in the 17th century carried it on them in a little box with a grater to flavor food and drinks.

Scent: Sweet, musky, spicy.

Extraction Method: Steam distillation.

Color: Clear to light yellow.

Note: Middle.

Properties: Emotional, Warming, Comforting.

Caution: Overuse can cause headaches.

Baths: add 5-8 drops to bath
Massages: add 2-3 drops of essential oils to 15ml (1 tablespoonful) of carrier oil
Vaporisation: add 2-4 drops of essential oils to a burner.
