Cajeput Essential Oil (Melaleuca Cajeputi )

Cajeput essential oil is used for colds and congestion, headaches, toothache, skin infections, pain, and other conditions, the oil is antiseptic & bactericide, insecticide, stimulant and tonic.

This oil is less known but very effective for winter ailments and for muscular pain when diluted in a massage oil.

Plant parts used: Leaves and twigs.

Scent: Fresh campherous aroma with a fruity note.

Cajeput essential oil recipe: Chest rub for cough and flu

40gr coconut oil

10ml jojoba oil

6 drops cajeput oil

4 drops each of frankincense and tea tree essential oils

2 drops each of eucalyptus and thyme essential oils

Warm the coconut oil n  double boiler until liquid, add the other ingredients, pour into a small jar and wait until it cools and solidifies.

Apply on your chest as needed.
