Jasmine Essential Oil (Jasminum Sambac)

If rose is the queen of flowers, jasmine must be her king. A climbing shrub with an amazing scent, so strong that you actually smell it before you see it.

Scent: Powerful, sweet, floral.

Extraction Method: Solvent.

Colour: Golden Brown.

Note: Middle.

Properties: Perfumery, aphrodisiac.

Chakra: Solar plexus.

Caution: Avoid during pregnancy (Safe in labour). Avoid in bath or massage if you have a sensitive skin.

Blends well with: rose, neroli, sandalwood, palmarosa, geranium, lemon, clove, grapefruit, bergamot, mandarin, orange, patchouli, petitgrain, ylang ylang and ginger.

Easy uses of jasmine essential oil

In the bedroom – Very sensual oil, great for those romantic moments in the diffuser or massage. 2 drops of jasmine and 3 drops of sandalwood and orange essential oils in a diffuser or in a tablespoon of almond oil for massage.

In the labour room – excellent massage oil during childbirth. 2 drops of Jasmine and clary sage essential oils in a tablespoon of base oil. Massage over the lower back and abdomen to promote contractions.

Add to your skin care – very low dilution, 5 drops jasmine and 5 drops frankincense essential oils per 50 gr for dry, mature skin.

Emotional stress – Take a warm bath with 2 drops jasmine and 4 drops sweet orange essential oils.
